Angel and CHEARI Set Up a Joint Research Center for Drinking Water Taste

On March 7, 2023, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation for "Joint Research Center for Drinking Water Taste" between Angel and the China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the CHEARI) took place in Shenzhen, China. The two parties will integrate superior resources and jointly use professional strength to empower the quality of drinking water and escort the healthy and quality life of the whole people in China.

CHEARI was established in 1964. It is a key institution of scientific innovations and technical services in China's Household Electric Appliance industry, focusing on services of Household Electric Appliance research, testing, certification, standardization, metering & calibration, media, and training.

CHEARI is committed to providing consumers with high-end and personalized products that are needed for a better life. This is highly consistent with Angel's vision of providing consumers with a healthy, safe and fashionable clean drinking water lifestyle. Therefore, adhering to the principle of "complementary advantages, resource sharing, win-win cooperation, and common development", the two parties established a long-term, close, and sustainable strategic partnership between industry, university, research and application, and jointly established a joint research center for drinking water taste.

The drinking water taste refers to the taste, odor, mouthfeel and other factors of water, which directly affects people's preference and the water intake. As an enterprise specializing in the research, development, manufacture and sales of drinking water equipment, Angel has been committed to improving the quality and taste of drinking water. By cooperating with CHEARI to establish a joint research center for drinking water taste, Angel can more systematically and comprehensively study the factors related to drinking water taste, including water sources, water treatment, pipelines, containers, etc., to improve the quality and standards of drinking water.

The Joint Research Center for Drinking Water Taste will give play to the respective professional and resource advantages of Angel and the CHEARI, and focus on user experience research, user experience evaluation, user experience standard formulation, and user experience. Experience laboratory design and construction and other fields, lay out the core technology of user experience, and carry out in-depth cooperation in various fields such as drinking water taste evaluation, smart sensors, human-computer interaction, product planning, design, research and development, and verification. Achieve new breakthroughs in promoting product user research and user experience design. At the same time, improve the efficiency and level of product research and testing & evaluation, and explore new paths for upgrading and iterating water purification products.
