On January 6 and February 7 this year, Angel received official notices from the Korean Intellectual Property Office and the Japan Patent Office respectively, that Angel's "full-effect reverse osmosis membrane element and the water purification equipment" (that is, long-acting reverse osmosis filter element) was granted the invention patents. Angel’s self-developed technology has been recognized by the international patent agency again after being authorized by the US invention patent, Angel demonstrating Angel’s technological solid innovation capabilities.
In 2019, Angel launched a self-developed long-acting reverse osmosis filter element with a filtration accuracy of 0.0001 microns and a filter effect that does not decay for 5 years. This is the first "Chinese RO filter element" developed by Angel with an investment of 150 million, gathering more than 200 scientific research experts, and overcoming multiple technical problems in three years. It won the gold medal at the 2022 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.
At present, the long-acting reverse osmosis filter element has been widely used in Angel’s full range of products, from the large water purifier series to the X-Tech series of high-end whole-house water purification. This technology has entered families all over the country, providing safe, healthy drinking water.
Over the years, Angel has carefully laid out and built a relatively complete patent protection barrier. The acquisition of patents from South Korea and Japan this time once again proved Angel's technical originality and novelty in the international water purification industry.
