Background

Guangdong Advanced Technical School (Guangdong Technician Institute) is a national key technical college and a large comprehensive vocational education and training base with the fastest development, the largest scale, and the strongest strength in the vocational education area in Guangdong, China. There are 9 dormitories and 7 academic and administrative buildings in the school that house approximately 7,000 students and staff.

The drinking water system was used for dormitories only, it was installed ten years ago, and that had serious drinking water safety risks. There were 727 water dispensers in dormitories, and the academic buildings didn't supply drinking water to students. Staff accessed drinking water through bottled water in their offices.

Solutions

Angel provided a POE drinking water solution according to the school’s requirements.

Dormitory: Considering there are about 6,000 students living in the dormitories, Angel designed a set of 2 T/h reverse osmosis water treatment equipment J2314-ROS2000C with 5 T pure water tanks installed in the existing water treatment room. The dormitories adopt circulating pipes, which supply water from the water purifier room to each dormitory through a constant-pressure water supply system. Each room of dormitories and 23 public areas is installed with a wall-mounted pipeline water dispenser separately.

Academic and administrative buildings: Two academic buildings are far apart; the administrative office building can seat approximately 500 people; the student training building can reach approximately 500 people at peak hours. So Angel provided POE drinking water solution for the school. The solution is using central water purifier J2710-ROS126C. Two units for the academic buildings, one unit for the administrative office building and be placed on the roof, and three units of central water purifiers for the student training building.

A multi-split circulating reflux water purification system for the academic building, administrative office buildings and training buildings, can save water and ensure fresh, safe and healthy drinking water. This solution is using fewer pipelines, so water is supplied to each drinking water dispenser by natural pressure and pressure buckets. The pipes run from the top floor to the ground floor, and then from each floor to each drinking water dispenser. There are 81 floor-standing pipeline dispensers or direct drinking taps installed in offices.
