Angel’s APCM Sterilization Material Launched into Space on Di’Er-1 Satellite

Jiuquan, China – December 17, 2023 – Angel, a leading innovator in water purification technology, proudly announced that APCM sterilization material was successfully launched into space on the Di'er-1 satellite. The launch was a complete success, marking a significant milestone in Angel's 36-year development journey and signaling a solid step forward in the innovative development of Angel's water purification technology.

The SQX-1 commercial carrier rocket carrying the Di'er-1 satellite blasts off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. The rocket blasted off at 3 p.m. (GMT+8) from the launch site, sending the Di'er-1 satellite into the planned orbit. It was the sixth flight mission of the SQX-1 commercial carrier rocket.

As part of this historic moment, Angel's APCM antimicrobial material embarked on a space experiment payload, entering the designated orbit with the satellite. This experiment holds great importance for Angel, showcasing its capabilities in extreme space environments and symbolizing the innovative development of Angel's water purification technology.

The APCM antimicrobial material space experiment will operate in orbit for 40 days, utilizing Escherichia coli (E. coli) as the experimental specimen. The objective is to observe the sterilization effectiveness of Angel's APCM sterilization material under extreme space conditions, including strong radiation, high vacuum, and weak electromagnetic fields. Simultaneously, a ground-based control experiment will be conducted to verify the stability of the antimicrobial material's sterilization effectiveness in different environments.

Angel's APCM sterilization material features the ability to graft 1 trillion antimicrobial molecular chains on an area as small as 0.1 square millimeters, roughly the size of a pencil tip. Its surface carries a strong positive charge, enabling rapid adsorption of microorganisms, such as bacteria, with negative charges. The material disrupts bacterial structures through purely physical means, achieving effective deactivation. With a removal rate of up to 99.99% for six major super-resistant pathogenic bacteria, the material revolutionizes traditional sterilization methods, offering safer and more efficient sterilization effects for water purification products.

With 36 years of dedication to the water purification field, Angel's profound technical expertise has played a crucial role in the successful execution of this space experiment. Looking ahead, Angel remains committed to exploring technological innovation and applications, aiming to provide users with a safe, healthy, and stylish lifestyle through purified drinking water.
